We are pleased to once again open our gates to all who wish to meet alpacas, up close and personal.   We've been restocking the store with lots of alpaca gift items such as scarves, socks, hats, gloves, slippers, shawls, teddy bears, finger puppets, soaps, lotion, yarn, just to name a few.  We have several new items this year from Bootleg Alpacas.  They have established quite a business with their "Alpaca Brew" fertilizer. Growers who have tried this on their flower and vegetable gardens are always repeat customers.  We are also offering beautiful tree ornaments made from gourds and beads, stuffed with alpaca fleece.  Birds love to line their nests with the fleece.  Imagine how much warmer it will keep their eggs!   For those who are looking for the ultimate luxury alpaca gift, wait until you see the silk/alpaca scarves made by two local artisans.
Several children from the Alpaca Camp we hosted last summer will be here to demonstrate how fun and easy it is to train an alpaca to manuver an obstacle course.
We have male and females alpacas available for sale.  We offer one year free boarding here at Shiloh Springs for two reasons.  If you don't currently have the pasture and shelter area ready to take your alpacas home, it gives you time to get their new home ready.  It also gives you time to get to know your alpacas and learn how to care for them.  We love our alpacas and want to make sure that by the time you take them home, you're certain that it was the best decision you've ever made.
Last, but most certainly not the least, come and meet "Jasper Alpaca" and the remarkable girl he loves.  You may have read about Jasper and Kaylynn in local newspapers or seen them around the community as they vist hospitals, nursing homes, hospice patients, schools, and many public events.  Jasper is truly a one-of-a-kind alpaca, content to go anywhere his 11-year old friend decides to take him.  Alpacas are curious animals, some friendlier than others, but for the most part, feel most comfortable in the company of their herd.
People cannot quit smiling when they meet Jasper and Kaylynn.

Mark your calendars to attend Saturday or Sunday, September 24th & 25th.
