We fell in love with our first alpaca in September 2006.  I'll never forget that day, everything about it was magical.

As any other alpaca owner can tell you, one or two alpacas are never enough. Even if you are not in the market for another one, your eyes are always roaming, eagerly watching to see what other alpacas look like and what their genetics are.  As we now look across our pastures, it amazes us how quickly we've grown.

We moved onto our ranch in the hills of La Cresta in southern California in the summer of 2008.  We are blessed with an ocean breeze every afternoon, incredible views of snowcapped mountains, rolling hills sprinkled with equestrian estates and surrounded on all sides by lush vineyards.  We added 6 Great Pyrenees livestock guardians, 5 feral rescue cats and a very vigilant llama. I won't be a bit surprised if heaven looks a lot like this!

We carefully selected each of our foundation females using fineness and genetic diversity as the most important criteria.

These females pass down the indisputably superior genetics of some of the best imports into the U.S.  Others are the offspring of current nationally recognized champion herdsires.  If you are new to the world of alpacas, these names might not mean anything yet, but they are names you will hear over and over again: Peruvian Hemingway, Peruvian Snowmaster, Peruvian Caligula, PPPeruvian Royal Fawn, PPeruvian Felix, 4Peruvian Legacy, PPeruvian Camilio, PPPeruvian Yupanqui, PPPeruvian Augusto, PPPeruvian El Moustachio, PPPeruvian Dracula, Peruvian Bueno, 4Peruvian Ajax, Accoyo El Nino, Peruvian Presidio, My Peruvian Rolex, MFI Peruvian Gallant Deed, Snowmass Royal Rose, Snowmass Legacy Gold, Snowmass Quechua, PPPeruvian Mr. President, PPPeruvian Caliente, Coyo Destini, PPeruvian Vengador, Peruvian Don Julio, PPeruvian Victor, PPPeruvian Cahuide, Mister Antonio, HFL Super Sam, PPeruvian Javier, P3 While Lightning, PPPeruvian Auzengate, Snowmass/Cchatanca, 4Peruvian Starr Kahn, and the Studmaster herdsires: K-2, NWA, Ltd Haldane, and MSA Peruvian Brunello.

Our breeding program with our own herdsires is in its second year.  We couldn't be prouder of the crias they are producing.

Please feel free to call us anytime, if we don't answer right away, we're probably in the barn or pasture enjoying our wonderful herd.  We love ranch visitors, so please call and schedule a day with our alpacas! We've just added our ranch store last year so that you can see and touch some of the wonderful products that can be made from alpaca fleece.

If you've never met an alpaca, they will have a place in your heart when you leave here, I promise!
