Alpaca Registry Inc 

The ARI is the only organization of its kind in the United States and is the largest alpaca pedigree registry in the world. Using DNA technology, ARI validates the parentage of alpacas submitted for pedigree registration.


Alpaca Breeders of
Southern California

The Alpaca Breeders of Southern California is an affiliate of AOBA. Their purpose is to promote and protect alpacas as a viable agricultural industry in Southern California. They sponsor the AlpacaFest West show held in November in the City of Industry.


California Alpaca
 Breeders Association

This is the largest of the California affiliates of AOBA. They are the oldest regional alpaca breeders association in the Northern Hemisphere and home to the oldest alpaca bloodlines in North America. They are the main sponsor for the California Classic Alpaca Show held each April in Pleasanton, CA.



This is a centralized marketplace for the alpaca industry – alpaca breeders, alpaca products and services.



The Alpaca Fiber Cooperative of North America, Inc. is an organization of over 1,000 alpaca producers. AFCNA pool their annual shearing of alpaca fiber and benefits from processing larger volumes of fiber and market products made from alpacas, on a national level. 







The Alpaca Research Trust is dedicated to funding medical and scientific research aimed at improving the health and vitality of North American alpacas.




Our mission is to honor and promote those North American alpacas that do not fit the typical show ring criteria.  Silky, fine uniform fiber or fiber that is variegated or unique.  To educate the public about areas of fiber, fiber arts, end products and animal husbandry

United Alpaca Family Farms has been around since 2006 as a support group for alpaca owners in their persuit to care for and market alpacas and their fleece.

UAFF is based on mutual respect and the willingness to come to the aid of other alpaca owners.
